Avery grew up in rural southwestern Minnesota and attended undergrad at a liberal arts college outside of Los Angeles California. With a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies, a Master’s degree in Urban Education, and 5 years of experience as a K-12 teacher, Avery has a strong foundation in both the theory and practice of education. She is currently pursuing a degree in Educational Leadership to further deepen her knowledge and ability to guide students and educators.
As a tutor, Avery’s goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and culturally responsive learning environment for every student. Each learner has their own strengths, challenges, and unique learning style. Avery’s approach is to tailor my lessons to meet the specific needs of my students, whether you’re looking for academic support, exam preparation, or simply a deeper understanding of the subject.
