Meryle has over thirty years’ experience advising prospective applicants and re-applicants as they navigate the admissions process. She served as Director of Admissions at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical school where she was responsible for all aspects of the admissions office. Meryle was instrumental in the early implementation of the Multiple Mini-Interview format at her institution and serves as an excellent resource for MMI strategies. She has experience working with BA/BS MD applicants and international applicants. In addition to her role as Director of Admissions she served as manager for the Office of Education, working with current medical school students, faculty and staff.
Upon retirement she joined a medical school consulting firm on the east coast for over six years, prior to joining Galin. Meryle has a long-standing passion for engaging with students as they experience the highs and lows of their journey toward medicine by providing supportive and honest assessments.
Meryle and her husband live in southeastern North Carolina with their dog Callie. In her free time Meryle enjoys walks with her dog, working out, reading, cooking, Mah Jongg, and is trying to learn golf.
