Just as the daffodils beginning to come out of the earth is a sign of spring, the Common App releasing its new member institutions is one of the signs that it is College Application Season!  This year, over 30 new colleges joined The Common Application, and you can see that list of colleges below—note that there are several Chicago-area colleges on the list.

The Common App is an application platform that allows students to apply to multiple schools using one application, which can then be customized for individual colleges. Most students find the Common App to be a very helpful way to streamline the process of applying to college, but completing the Common App isn’t quite as easy as it seems.  From answering questions about your school’s grading system and policies to reporting on all the activities you’ve participated in throughout high school using a very specific format, most students find it helpful to have an expert help guide them through the application.

This is exactly the support we provide in our summer College Application Boot Camp!  In just four days over the summer, our college counselors and essay coaches help students start and FINISH their Common Applications, and complete at least two essays to accompany it.  We hope you’ll join us this summer!
